What is Fur Forever?
Fur Forever turns a photo of your pet into a portrait set in a historical era, or in the future. You can order your portrait as a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle or as a digital file. Fur Forever is part of PRSM V.O.F., a Dutch company.
Does it work for my pet?
Yes. Dogs and cats are the most common, but it works just as well for rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, birds and reptiles. Our examples include a parakeet and an iguana.
Which photo works best?
A sharp photo in good light, with your pet looking towards the camera and the face clearly visible. One animal per photo gives the best result. We accept JPG, PNG and WEBP up to 10 MB.
Will my pet still be recognisable?
That is the whole point. The portrait is made from your own photo and keeps the breed, fur colours, markings, eye colour and face. The setting and the clothing change, your pet does not. Not happy with a result? Simply create a new one.
Which eras can I choose from?
Five: Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, the Middle Ages, the Stone Age and the future, around the year 2500.
Does creating a portrait cost money?
You can create 3 portraits a day for free. Want more? You can add 5 extra portraits for €0.99. You only pay for a product when you order one.
What can I order?
Right now a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle of 68 × 48 cm and a digital file (PNG, 2560 × 3200 pixels). A canvas print and a framed photo are coming soon.
What does it cost?
The puzzle costs €49.50, shipping included. The digital file costs €15.00, and half that when you order it together with a puzzle.
Where do you ship to?
To 12 countries: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
When will my order arrive?
Every order is checked by hand first, then printed and shipped. You get an email with a tracking link as soon as your puzzle is on its way. The digital file is ready to download right after payment.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Enter the address of the person you want to surprise as the delivery address. The box is printed with the portrait, so it is ready to give.
Can I return my puzzle?
The puzzle is made from your own portrait, so the 14-day right to cancel does not apply. If it arrives damaged or faulty, we replace it or refund you. You can read the details in our terms.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo is only used to create your portrait. Uploaded photos are deleted within 24 hours and are never used for anything else. Our privacy policy has the details.
Why does my portrait have a watermark?
Only the preview on the site has a watermark. The puzzle and the digital file you order are delivered without it.
